Caitlin & Dan’s Romantic Fashion Session

Dan and Cait and I got together the day after their wedding for this romantic fashion session—or ‘trash the dress’, as it is popularly known, though I much prefer my name for it. Plus, Caitlin would have been understandably reluctant to actually trash her rather nice Lazaro wedding gown. icon wink Caitlin & Dans Romantic Fashion Session It was good to see them again and we were able to relax and create some portraits without the rush of the wedding day.

We shot mostly around the Liberty Grand again, using some locations that we weren’t able to get to on their wedding day due to weather and a tight wedding schedule. Right near the Liberty is a really cool historic house with a beautiful garden. I love the first few images from there—with the dappled sunlight streaming through the tree branches it just looks so summer-y and secluded, like we were on a farm somewhere. Dan - Who are you and how did you get pictures of me??? haha WOW!!! It was worth the freezing, minor frostbite and almost losing equipment and an assistant into Lake Ontario!!! Again, I can`t thank you enough for making our day look as good as it felt!! Btw the feeling finally came back in my toes 3 days ago ;) haha Cheers Dan and Cait

melissa - Love the one with the Toronto skyline in the backgroud, and the last one with the arches is SO cool!

melissa - That should read "background"....never talk with a mouthful of icecream ;)

Marsha - Mark, these photos are stunning as usual! They are glamorous, fun and romantic. I love the one where they are dancing. Beautiful processing.

irene - how come I missed this one? lovely, such balance of colors with beautiful skin tones. Hard to pick, the garden ones are exquisite, .. but gotta go for the dancing one in the arches :) fantastic!
